i am determined to finish some of the half created items i have on the go at the moment...
baskets of yarn, a shelf full of papier mache figures waiting for their final layer of paper, and a pile of new wool brooch designs....
the first finally finished item is my *new*
hare brooch....

hare brooch....
i am more than a little besotted with it...
i adore hares - they always take me back to the time i spent a week staying with my dear grandad ...
he had very reluctantly agreed to let me take him on a drive through the countryside, he was a nervous passenger to say the least!
we stopped next to a field that he remembered playing in when he was a boy and watched hares...

it was magical
so
the hare brooch will always be a very special part of my brooch collection....
tomorrow i plan on tackling the papier mache hare figure that is sitting forlornly next to a bird and a hilde sheep on my forgotten shelf...
