whilst i was without internet access at home for just over a year a new thing arrived ...
it is a small thing that sits and teases you...
a sly nod
a cute wink
a tip of the hat
this new thing has me all of a flutter, a sweetshop of images lure me in and i want to spend my afternoons stuffing myself silly until i can absolutely squeeze no more in...
at first i was a looker...
i peeped in from the outside and quite frankly i liked what i saw
but finally today i took off my
* fear of anything new on this darn computer *
armbands and took the plunge
its official
i am a pinner
a pinner of beautiful things
yes siree
i have at long last opened a pinterest thingamy and i intend on filling it..
i'll be honest with you, for i believe it is always best to be honest, it took me a good while this morning to actually work out how to even sign up...
i had eaten my breakfast of pear and blackcurrant crumble cake and two cups of coffee before i had even one image pinned....
i started to fear that this pinning malarkey was not for me but with a firm mindset and a few reassuring words of wisdom from sweet Woo i set forth...
and as of now i have a grand total of two whole images pinned ...
this is nothing short of a small shiny miracle
i am keeping everything crossed that my new found pinning ability will spur me on to find images of gardens that make me swoon...
swoon enough to force me to believe that i can truly turn my jungle of a garden in to something that is not just a home for dog poo, dandelions, wayward chickens and escaped sheep....
* note... these pictures were taken about two weeks ago - now the grass is over the top of my wellies which makes seeing the actual dog poo a little tricky... *
and also make me realise that i can not just stay outside all day ignoring the fact that the house is mouldy...
yep
actual mould has taken up residency in our stone house and by the look of things it is reluctant to leave...
thankfully i am without worry for deep down i just know that with the help of my new found pinning superpowers i will shift old mouldy out along with the terrifying carpets and peach
(yes p.e.a.c.h)
kitchen tiles....
(yes p.e.a.c.h)
kitchen tiles....
you just watch and see
so.... i would obviously love you to rush over and take a peek using the clever button on my side bar
(i cannot begin to tell you how long that took me to upload)
but if i was you i would give it a few days...
and in the meantime why not become a pinner of lovely things too
that way we could admire each others pinny things
each of us wearing our pins with pride
now that would be nice
t x
Hurray! I too am a pinner...so addicted... Love your pictures...
