this week....

* i have successfully made a Vegan bakewell tart...
and eaten 3/4 of it myself...

* managed to throw the last soft dog frisbee in to a large patch of thistles...
and had to retrieve it before the hounds whilst wearing a skirt...Align Centre

* i am wearing wool tights to bed....
it is that cold here in the Highlands.....

* i have started on my makes for Christmas gifts...
better late than never friends and family...

* it has snowed...
and we have had spectacular double rainbows...

* i miss my family more than ever before...
and it hurts like hell....

* i have discovered the delights of crispbreads and orange squash....
which i have eaten when not eating bakewell...

* i miss chocolate and pizza...
must find a vegan chocolate supplier...

* i have not blogged very much lately...
lack of good cheer, inspiration and camera battery charger lost....

* waiting for good news is killing us....
all whilst we dread that the news will be bad and knock us off our feet...

so
all in all
life here is plodding along
i need a change and i need it quick

  1. Hi Tracy - My vegan sister uses Tesco's value plain cooking chocolate for baking etc but of course it can be eaten by the square at a pinch. It's one of those products which is accidentally vegan. Bx

  3. oooh, are they the dutch crispbreads? I could eat about five packets a day, especially with butter spread on the top, it brings out the flavour. and robinsons fruit and barley is a staple feature in my cupboard too, even though I have to pay through the roof to get it over here.
